There are several breathing techniques that are helpful to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, enhances focus and mental clarity and finally, to lessen stress level. 4-7-8 Breathing Technique is one of the common breathing techniques.


Here is the step-by-step guide for Breathing Technique.

First step is to inhale for 4 Seconds: Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose for a count of 4 seconds. Second step is to hold your breath for 7 Seconds: After inhaling, hold your breath for a count of 7 seconds. This pause allows your body to absorb the oxygen. Third step is to exhale for 8 Seconds: Finally, exhale slowly through your mouth, making the whooshing sound again, for a full count of 8 seconds. Repeat: Complete the cycle for four rounds, then return to your normal breathing.


Incorporating the 4-7-8 breathing technique into your daily routine can be a simple yet effective way to manage stress, sleep better, and find a moment of calm in your busy day.
