Introduction: In the quest for snacks that support mental well-being, crispy kale chips are a delightful and nutritious option. Packed with vitamins and minerals, kale is known to boost brain function and mood. Plus, making your own kale chips at home is easy and allows for creative seasoning. Let's dive into a simple yet delicious kale chip recipe.

Recipe: Crispy Parmesan Kale Chips

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of fresh kale, washed and dried

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Remove the stems from the kale and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

  3. In a large bowl, toss the kale with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spread the kale evenly on a baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are crispy but not burnt.

  6. Allow to cool and enjoy this guilt-free, crunchy snack!
