Introduction: Supporting your gut health is a key component of nurturing your mental well-being. Fermented foods like kimchi are rich in probiotics, which contribute to a healthy gut microbiome. This Kimchi Bowl combines the goodness of fermented foods with a variety of vibrant ingredients for a tasty and gut-friendly meal.

Recipe: Kimchi Bowl

Ingredients:

  • Cooked brown rice or quinoa

  • Kimchi

  • Grilled chicken or tofu

  • Sliced avocado

  • Shredded carrots

  • Sliced cucumber

  • Sesame seeds

  • Soy sauce or tamari

  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Assemble a bowl with your choice of cooked brown rice or quinoa as the base.

  2. Add generous servings of kimchi, grilled chicken or tofu, sliced avocado, shredded carrots, and sliced cucumber.

  3. Drizzle with soy sauce or tamari, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

  4. Garnish with chopped green onions for an extra burst of flavor.
